Joaquin Avellan is a seasoned DevOps and infrastructure engineer with over 15 years of experience building, securing, and scaling complex systems across academia, government, and enterprise environments. He is the Principal Owner of TCP 443 Consulting, where he leads cloud architecture, automation, and security initiatives for clients across the U.S.
Before launching his consultancy, Joaquin co-founded Generation NYX and directed DevOps operations at Significo, where he architected scalable infrastructure and optimized CI/CD pipelines for global deployments. His technical foundation was shaped through key roles at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Nuance Communications, Acadian Asset Management, and Harvard University, where he specialized in systems engineering, application administration, and secure network operations.
Joaquin’s approach blends hands-on technical expertise with strategic systems thinking—bridging DevOps, security, and cloud innovation to help organizations achieve resilient, efficient, and compliant operations.
